Colin Day was the first Vice President and the second President of the Kamloops Blazers. Despite the success of the team, winning the WHL title five times and the Memorial Cup three times, he was asked resign from his position in September 2003, after the team office manager was found having embezzled money from the team. He passed away on April 13, 2012.
