He and his group of investors sold the WPHL franchise to a Todd Newman and a group of investors, Jim Eliot, Cynthia Holiday, Martin Navarro, Shawn Oglesby and Craig Ross, in early 2000. He, Charlie Morrow and Pat Nugent were also the owners of the CHL franchise Macon Whoopee, before selling the franchise to Jeffrey Fried and Brother Stewart.
