Prospect Prospective: Jagger Firkus' ascension into an elite scorer
In his fourth WHL season, Jagger Firkus is tearing up the league. He was invited to Canada’s World Junior Championship (WJC) selection camp but was cut after a poor showing. He might get a chance to play after all if the injury bug hits. Regardless of what happens at the 2024 WJC, what is his long-term projection? Firkus was selected 35th overall in 2022 by the Seattle Kraken, he was their ninth ever draft pick. The EP Rinkside team had Firkus rated as the 20th best player so getting him 15 picks later is great value.
